Maurivet Ltd. is a Mauritius based company founded in 1991 with the primary objective of importing and distributing veterinary drugs and vaccines for local livestock.
In 2009, the management of Maurivet Ltd. was completely overhauled. Today, although headquartered at Conidae House in Pailles, the pharmacy remains located in Forest Side.
The company now operates under the guidance of Dr. Dewan Sibartie, a highly respected figure in the veterinary world with more than 50 years of experience dedicated to animal health, veterinary public health, and the design, coordination, and implementation of national and international veterinary projects.

Kevin Sibartie: After completing his legal studies in the UK, he returned to his home country of Mauritius to take a position as an associate a top-rated law firm focused on transactions in Africa. Amongst the largest deals he has been involved in include the USD1 billion sale of Shell in 19 countries in Africa, a USD950M syndicated banking facility for MTN Group and the establishment of a EUR350M private equity fund focused on SMEs in West Africa. He decided to change my professional outlook from law to corporate finance while he was working for the MCB Group, the largest banking group in Mauritius and amongst the top 10 banks in Africa. In 2017 he founded Lineage Invest, his own investment advisory firm which is licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. He also obtained the Corporate Finance Qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). Within Lineage Invest, he advises on capital raising, valuations, listing, mergers and acquisitions in Mauritius, Africa and the UAE. Since inception, he has advised across various sectors and industries on transactions of various sizes. He also started investing through a personal holding company namely Cartwheel Investments, in various sectors in Mauritius either in a complete buyout scenario or in partnership with experienced entrepreneurs with significant industry expertise. As such, Cartwheel has interests in financial services, education, property, healthcare and food security.

Mrs V Sibartie has been Managing Director of Maurivet Ltd since its inception. She brings 30 years of experience from public service and management in the private sector.

The Pharmacist in charge, Caroline Konfortion Lee Mew Fong, graduated from the London School of Pharmacy of the University of London. With over 18 years of experience in hospital pharmacy, wholesale pharmacy, retail pharmacy and veterinary pharmacy, Caroline fulfills her duties with utmost care and devotion towards both staff and clients.
