Maurivet Ltd. stocks vaccines against avian encephalomyelitis, colibacillosis, coccidiosis, egg drop syndrome, fowl pox, infectious bronchitis, infectious bursal disease (Gumboro), Marek disease, pasteurellosis (fowl cholera), Newcastle disease, reovirus infections and salmonellosis.
Maurivet Ltd is the sole supplier of Poulvac® E. coli, the only commercially available modified-live Escherichia coli (E. coli) vaccine, making it possible to help protect against both the disease and productivity loss.
Maurivet Ltd is the sole importer and distributor of Poultry vaccines from the following internationally renowned manufacturers, namely Biovac (Israel), Phibro Animal Health (USA/Israel), Boehringer Ingelheim (Formerly Merial / Germany), Zoetis Poultry (Formerly Pfizer /USA) and Biovet Vaxxinova (Brazil/Italy).
We also stock a range of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and electrolytes in solution or as hydrosoluble powder. These include Aminogrow, Certivit AD3E, Introvit A+, Introvit C, Introvit ES, Stressmix, Stressol, Stimosol, and Vitol for use in various species but more commonly in poultry to ensure sound health and optimal production.
In case of infection, Maurivet Ltd. stocks antibiotics and other antibacterials such as Aliseryl (Erythromycin+ Oxytetracycline, Streptomycin, Belcospira (Spiramycin+ Colistin), Biocillin (Amoxycillin), Coliflox (Colistin+ Enrofloxacin) Dimoxan (Colistin + Amoxycillin), Doxy 200 (Doxycycline + Tylosin), Interflox ( Enrofloxacin) and Intertrim-480(Sulphathiazine+ Trimethoprim) all of which can be given in drinking water without injections!
We also stock Amprocox (Amprolium+ Sulphaquinoxaline, Vitamins A and K) for the prevention and treatment of of coccidiosis for birds that have not been vaccinated against the disease.
Anthelmintics such as Piperin (Piperazine citrate) and Albenol (Albendazol) keep worms (round and flat) at bay.
To ensure a high level of biosecurity, Maurivet Ltd. stocks Dexid 200 and Dexid 400. Dexid is an optimized blend of glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds with a powerful broad spectrum activity against all pathogenic fungi, bacteria and viruses. It is a potent, high performance terminal disinfectant formulated for use in poultry hatcheries, livestock buildings and for disinfecting equipment, boot dips and wheels of vehicles. It is non corrosive and biodegradable performing extremely well in the presence of organic matter. It is suitable for soaking, spraying and fogging applications. It can also be used to disinfect wood shavings and thus prevent aspergillosis in poultry.

Vaccination is the key to keeping your dog healthy and away from potentially expensive vet bills. Maurivet Ltd. stocks a complete range of vaccines that can be administered as from 5 weeks of age. Available vaccines protect against Parvovirus infection, Distemper, Hepatitis, leptospirosis and infectious laryngotracheatitis which are prevalent in Mauritius. The CANVAC range (CANVAC P, CANVAC Junior, CANVAC DHP, and CANVAC DHPL) of vaccines keeps your pets healthy. In addition to these vaccines, Maurivet Ltd also stocks CANGLOB® DHLaPPi, which contains hyper-immune serum against those diseases. CANGLOB® DHLaPPi has been used in dogs that are already clinically affected with those diseases with a very high degree of success. Traditional vaccines would not be applicable in these cases.
We also stock effective medicines against internal and external parasites (Kiwof Plus tablets, Pestorid tablets and Intermectin injection against endoparasites including toxoplasma and hookworms) and Protektor spot on and spray, Fiprofort spot on against deadly external parasites that also spread specific infectious diseases some of which also affect humans. So make sure you are protecting your pets and therefore yourself.
To keep your dog in shape, we sell Canine health tablets and other vitamin mixtures.
The veterinary clinic which is found adjacent to Maurivet Ltd. employs experienced veterinary surgeons to assist you in the treatment of your pets. A wide range of medicines including antibiotics are available on veterinary prescription. We also stock ready made balanced commercial feeds from the internationally known brand “ROYAL CANIN” imported from France.

Our range of products protect against the various causes of diarrhoea: worms; (albendazole, Levamisole Ivermectin and Piperazine,), infectious diarrhea; Aliseryl (Erythromycin+ Oxytetracycline, Streptomycin, ), Biocillin (Amoxycillin), Coliflox (Colistin+ Enrofloxacin), Doxy-200 (Doxycycline + Tylosin) , Interflox ( Enrofloxacin), Intertrim-480 (Sulphathiazine+ Trimethoprim) and Limoxin (oxytetracycline).
We also stock Iron-based products (Intrafer B12) which prevent iron deficiency and reinforce the immune system of piglets.
We distribute a wide range of injectable and oral antibiotics e.g. long acting injectable antibiotics; Biocillin LA (Amoxycillin), Genta100 (Gentamycin), Limoxin LA (oxytetracycline), Intertrim LA ((Sulphathiazine+ Trimethoprim), Pen-Strep 400-LA, (Penicillin+ streptomycin) and Procaben LA (procaine penicillin and Benzathine penicillin G) as well as hydrosoluble antibiotic powders that can be administered in water or feeds such as Aliseryl (Erythromycin+ Oxytetracycline, Streptomycin, Biocillin (Amoxycillin), Doxy-200 (Doxycycline + Tylosin), Interflox ( Enrofloxacin) and Intertrim-480 (Sulphathiazine+ Trimethoprim) and oral vitamins and minerals supplements (Aminogrow, Certivit AD3E, Introvit A+, Introvit C, Introvit ES, Stressmix, Stressol, Stimosol, and Vittol). Our range of vitamins and minerals also include injections (Introvit B complex and Vittol 450) to keep your stock healthy and help them put on weight and build up their reproductive capacity in later life.
