Equine infections on the rise

The North Dakota Department of Agriculture said Mon 1 Jul 2019 a horse
has confirmed positive for the neurologic disease associated with
equine herpesvirus-1, or EHV-1.
The horse is receiving veterinary care in McKenzie county.
In the last few months, EHV-1 cases have been identified in several US states and Canadian provinces.
